Actions Requested

  • Be aware the Washington State Department of Health continues to recommend everyone 6 months of age and older receive the current COVID-19 vaccine to protect against severe illness. This recommendation includes pregnant people.
  • Be aware most people ages 5 years old and older just need one updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine to be up to date.
  • Be aware people 65 years old and older should receive 2 doses of any 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine 6 months apart. If needed, the second dose can be given as soon as 2 months after the first dose of 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Children 6 months- 4 years may need more than one dose of an updated 2024-2025 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine to be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination.
